Dogs Who Have Found Homes

Tika

Tika - mini, female spayed eskie 6 - 8 years old, fully housetrained, crate trained, loves attention and long car rides, perfectly fine off leash - very obedient, comes when called. Likes to be the center of attention all the time. This girl is one of the best rescues to come into our program - she will be a joy to live with and very loyal. Will you give her the home she deserves for the rest of her life.

good with cats

All we want for her is a good home where she can be the loving dog we know she is. Sarah came to us after being literally "kicked out" of the condo complex that her previous owner lived at. There were already issues but the dog became one out of spite courtesy of the neighbours. We have tried to keep her with her two brothers (she was born in 2005 and our two were born in 2007 - same parents) but our home simply can't handle three Eskies, nor do we have the time for all three of them. She needs to be in a home where she can play only dog and be taken for walks. She might need some basic training (she likes to be dominent at times). She is microchipped, (which is transferable), healthy, and is a full size Eskie female, as well as spayed. She weighs about 20 pounds, Her birthdate is November 1, 2005. I can get her records if necessary. Her appetite is good and her coat really nice. She likes to sleep at the end of the bed - and seeing that we had two other Eskies up till October of last year do the same thing that was not a problem with us. If she is bad and disciplined - she immediately knows she is wrong and looks to apologize....she needs consistency in discipline. The only thing that I emphasize with Sarah is she goes to a home without cats. I can't emphasize that enough. We have three - two won't come upstairs since she has been with us. They are scared to death of her. All in all, she is a good dog that needs to go to a loving home, with a yard to play in. One other thing we might mention in the post. She came from a home with a little girl about 8 years old. Our daughter is almost 18. Whoever takes her might be wise to have kids of between 8 and 18 - just to be on the safe side. We have had no problems thus far but as I said previously, she needs consistency in discipline.
