Dogs Who Have Found Homes

Kalluka - 7 mo. old male (Apr. 05) - neutered, vaccinated, cratetrained and very outgoing confident puppy.

Trina - Now Gypsy, has settled beautifully in to her new home.  She loves to chase squirrels, chews her toe nails and her best friend is a cat.  We are currently considering revoking her Pawzie Graduation certificate for the above behaviours :-)

Bobbi - female spayed 5 yrs old - Born - Jan. 2000. Bobbi is a very affectionate girl who has just had to be surrendered because her family was moving back to Taiwan. She is fully housetrained, up to date on vaccinations, a little nervous with around dogs, not aggressive. Scared of cats and will bark at them if they startle her. Will crate/kennel but prefers to sleep on the bed or couch. Gets excited when people come and barks, but quickly settles and wants to be petted. Has accepted the change into Rescue without any aggression. Can you give Bobbi a forever home where she never has to move again.

George & Gracie  - George & Gracie MUST be adopted together (they were, the picture above is of G & G in their new home)! Gracie - Mini Eskie - weighs 15 lbs - she is spayed and up to date on shots.... George - Mini Eskie - weighs 20lbs - he is neutered and up to date on shots... Guessing their ages at around 2 yrs. Sadly, they were found abandoned on the side of the road. They both need continued work on housetraining, Gracie is doing much better than George, they need to be supervised when loose in the house. Being inside a home is now exciting for them, they race up stairs, are curious about the cats, still jump at loud noises. They are not aggressive in any way. They are nervous of strangers, so you just have to let them come to you. They are crate trained. Gracie is quite a bit more confident than George. They need a wonderful home with patient people.

Oliver (formerly Alex) - Male puppy 5 mos. old - neutered, shy initially with strangers, but then can be very friendly. Gets along with other dogs and cats.

Lakota - Male, neutered, approx. 8 yrs. old - vaccinated. He has a full thick coat and is about 16 inches at the shoulders (same size as a Sheltie). Lakota is a difficult dog to describe. He can be very affectionate and loves to cuddle on the couch. He doesn't like cats at all and will fight with other dogs that are larger than him, and more particularly male dogs that are not neutered. He needs to meet the new dog on leash and he is fine. He is fantastic on leash, has had quite a bit of leash work and loves his daily walks. He needs strong verbal control, no rough handling or he may nip. He has a bit of night blindness. He is crate trained and needs to be supervised when loose in the house.

Bianca - Mini Eskie - Female - Spayed - 1 year old - Housetrained - Crate trained - Vaccinated - Very shy and nervous around people she doesn't know due to her lack of socialization as a young puppy. She is overweight and needs to loose a few pounds. She is quick to bond when she trusts you and is a loyal companion - she follows you everywhere. She loves to go for car rides and walks nicely on the leash. We recommend a QUIET home with older children and someone who is patient with her and will continue with her socialization. She stands on her hind legs and says "please". She likes to play with other dogs if they are gentle and will chase the cats when outside, but leaves them alone in the house.

Timmy - Timmy needs a forever home where he will never be left tied up outside again. He was taken from a backyard where he has spent that last 4 years tied to an 8 foot chain. He is about 4 1/2 years old, neutered and up to date on vaccinations. He is not housetrained. He is crate trained. Nervous of people he doesn't know, but very affectionate to people that he knows. He needs work on house manners and meeting people. We have no history on Timmy with small children. We are looking for a forever home that can give him all the love and affection he deserves and the freedom of a secure fenced backyard where he can play for the rest of this days.
